I’m Sandra J. Battle

I have loved art and dabbled in many artistic pursuits for as long as I can remember. In 2016, I decided to really learn to paint and am loving the process. As I develop my skills and style I’m discovering that there is so much more to learn. As an emerging artist I’m now at the stage where I need to share what I am creating here on this website. I hope that by the beauty I see out into the world I am inspiring others to protect, preserve and appreciate all of the natural beauty in the world and will bring more joy into the world.

Hearts & Hugs

It goes without saying that 2020 will be labelled as a tough year. This year we collectively have experienced more sadness than many us have ever scene. For me painting helps me sort out my feelings and on those really sad days. This year there when painting my usual happy flowers didn’t feel right and out of those days came the Hearts & Hugs Collection. While these pieces were created from a starting point of sadness when finished I felt hope for a better day…
